Do you ever just cry because maybe Ma and Pa were childhood sweethearts who grew up together and were inseparable until he got called away to fight in the war and they were both devastated but the thought of her waiting for him was more than enough to convince him to survive and return to her at all costs and he came back to marry her and spend years and years with her and they were so happy but then a storm came and downed trees, destroyed houses, swept Ma’s life away and Pa is devestated, of course, but also left wondering why did it have to be her, why couldn’t it have been me, it should’ve been me, what part of this is fair
